Bio

A self-taught artist working primarily in oils with subjects ranging from landscapes to still life he is inspired by the beauty found in New Jersey, especially in his home county of Monmouth. He strives to create paintings that convey a deep appreciation of the natural world. His Plein Air compositions capture the changing light and atmospherics of a scene. Some are painted from readily accessible locations, while others require a bit of hiking to find a perfect vantage point. Still life compositions include a series of Christmas – themed paintings suitable for holiday cards.
